Together with agencies and clients, ATELIER FLEITER creates unique concepts with a focus on self-made electricity. For the AUDI AG a setup was designed that had two bikes generate electricity for a photography box, which took group photos of all participants. For PROXIMUS a spinning generator on a music festival allowed one person to generate power for ten other visitors to charge their mobiles.    For the Think Blue- campaign of VOLKSWAGEN AG a stationary installation was put into place on a children’s playground on the island of Sylt. It looks like a normal carousel found on playgrounds all over the world. But this one is different. When set into motion, the search-light in a miniature lighthouse next to the carousel lightens up, run by power from a generator within the playing device. Further down the tower, four USB-power outlets allow parents to charge their mobile phones. The children having fun on the carousel thus not only generate power for the tower’ s lighting effects, but also offer an unusual solution for the everyday phone-charging problem.

Now, there are many places on this planet where THE ELECTRIC CAROUSELwould not only complement an existing power infrastructure, but provide electricity in locations where otherwise there would be none. Where having 200 watts on demand without fuels, maintenance contracts and unpredictable natural forces makes a huge difference.
